Description

This is a medium style wine with the wings of an angel. Its
aromas comprise of delicate red fruits (strawberry, cherry and
gooseberry) and black fruits (blackberry, blueberry and
blackcurrant) punctuated with peppery notes. Its texture and
balance are marked by smooth, velvety tannins which
confirm its burgundgian typicity.

Perfect for the culture of Grand Burgundy wines, the Tonnerois region
associates, privileged exposure on old slopes with a tough ancient
limestone soil. (the same as Chablis). A long growing season with the
high quality Pinot Noir grapes allows the root system to explore deep
into the earth thus ensuring an optimal expression of the mineral soil.

These uncloned vines have been selected from old vines from Volnay
« Taillepieds » and « Frémiers » also from Chambertin and Vougeot.
