The Domaine Roc des Anges is located in Latour-de-France, in Roussillon . It was created by Marjorie and Stéphane Gallet in 2001. Marjorie, originally from Grenoble, and Stéphane, originally from Normandy, met at the school of agronomy in Montpellier. Their two common passions, wine and horse riding, sealed their relationship. They graduated in 2000 and settled in Roussillon where Marjorie worked for a time with Gérard Gauby. Stéphane takes over the technical management of a large estate in Maury. Marjorie then went in search of vines to create the estate and fell in love with a plot planted with Carignan on a vein of quartz in the locality of Roc Blanc. Stéphane joined her in 2008 and in turn found a plot in Maury which they named “Terres de Fagayra” and which would be used to produce their natural sweet wines. The vineyards of both estates are certified biodynamic .
Llum Blanc is a blend of Grenache Gris et Blanc, Macabeu, Carignan Gris et Blanc and Malvoisie . These grape varieties are grown in a Mediterranean climate, on superficial schists of the Pyrenean foothills, ocher clays and calcareous pebbles of the Agly terraces.
