Givry 1er cru l’Empreinte 2021 du domaine joblot is an atypical and original wine since it was born from the subtle blending of part of each premier cru of the Domaine. A proportion of each 1er cru that changes according to the vintages and the selection made by the Joblot family. A complex and deep wine that impresses with its density. This Empreinte impresses with its density: a majestic wine with accents of raspberry, strawberry coulis, blackberries and precious woods. In the firmament of Givry by its concentration and intensity, this Givry 1er cru will age with grace.

Blend of our 4 premier crus with east and south exposure

The vintage was a hot one from 15 April until harvest, with scorching, sweltering periods. Despite this, the vines were able to withstand the heat and, thanks to the saving rains at the end of June, were able to bring their fruit to a good level of ripeness for an early harvest that began on 21 August. A sunny vintage, then, but with a different profile to the 2020 vintage, with more aromatic freshness, less alcohol and the very fine acid balance we love!

The Pinots offer gourmet aromas, with a full, powerful palate, accompanied by noble-grained tannins. This is a vintage whose juiciness can be appreciated young and which will express all its richness with age.
