Description

This is a deeply sentimental wine from a vineyard planted in a time of great emotion for
loved family. It sits alongside our house and pays tribute to a beautiful mentor and the Bindi
founder, Darshan Dhillon. In some ways it’s a dialled up Original Vineyard;
wonderful perfume and charm across the palate. The 2021 Darshan is super pure, shows
rose petal fragrance, is quite spicy and has fruits in the red cherry and raspberry spectrum.
It is very pure and fresh. The palate is textured and lavish, fresh, vibrant, intense, very long
and flowing. It will take six years to fully settle and will drink beautifully for a few decades.

this Pinot Noir vineyard of 11,300+ vines per hectare (with the “Crazy” section, so
named in 2014, with 20% of the vines at 22,600 vines per hectare) has evolved
exceptionally well and produced its seventh crop in 2023. This one acre vineyard has
always been run without herbicide or pesticide. The quality and style of Darshan is
extremely pleasing for its beauty of fruit, spice and earth, elegance and palate length. The
initial vintages, beginning in 2017, are maturing beautifully in bottle
