Description

The 2019 Filhot has a light bouquet with honeysuckle and linseed aromas, perhaps just missing the energy and intensity of the best Sauternes. The palate is actually better than the nose suggests with admirable purity, well balanced and with a fresh, viscous finish of pineapple and peach. I just hope that the aromatics take a leaf out of the palate’s book and improves during élevage.
