Description

One of the Carêmes’ two single-vineyard cuvées, the vines for Peu Morier are approximately 60 years old and grown on clay and flint soil. The grapes were directly pressed and aged on fine lees for 1 year in 400 litre barrels that have previously been filled between 1 and 5 times. It has 4.5g/l of residual sugar but drinks as a dry wine.  If you are familiar with Carême labelling on their scale of 1 to 5 where 1 is dry and 5 is sweet it is 1.5. With hints of white fruits, citrus and a mineral finish it is a gastronomic wine, well suited to matching with poultry, fish, shellfish or cheese. Certified organic. ABV 13.5%.
