Description

Tasting This blend of young vines from the plateaus has a delicious and fresh profile. Fragrant melon, white nectarine and jasmine on the nose. Palate follows with a very satisfying fullish mouthfeel with plenty of stone fruit, melon and a little nutmeg.

Grape variety 70% Marsanne, 30% Roussanne.

Vineyard This cuvée is the result of blending two plots located on plateaus overlooking the north of the Rhône Valley. The average altitude of 300 m and the less sunny exposure than the vines of neighboring appellations (Condrieu – Saint-Joseph) allow to preserve a maximum of freshness in the wines.

Terroir Granite soil, sandy, not very well-founded.

Vinification The plots are harvested manually and vinified separately. After pressing, the musts are severely clarified. Alcoholic fermentation is slow and malolactic fermentation is complete.

Aged for 10 months in 400 l barrels.

Alcohol content 13% vol.
